Why it's great:

- Magazine reliability concerns in harsh environments: Some users have reported that the XD-M's double-stack magazine can be prone to fouling when exposed to fine silt, such as that found in glacial runoff. Cast Bullet Use:
Springfield XD-M barrels use traditional rifling and are generally safe for hard cast bullets. As with all factory barrels, verify proper bullet fit, and avoid soft lead. Aftermarket barrels are not typically required unless you experience leading or want tighter tolerances.
